Clayton Brothers Open to Press, Crowds

In their inaugural solo exhibition with Mark Moore Gallery, “Open to the Public,” the Clayton Brothers have indeed opened with all of the enthusiasm and support one would hope for. Before their jam-packed reception on Saturday, August 16th, the brothers treated an exclusive crowd of patrons and press to an artist talk – moderated by critic Shana Nys Dambrot and artist Aaron Smith. Following the talk, the artist duo signed limited edition newspapers for those in attendance, and opened formally their show to hundreds of guests. Recently, the brothers were the subject of an Artsy Editorial interview and preview, which has garnered much attention in the few days it has been live. They have also received glowing preview press from Juxtapoz, Hi Fructose, and the LA Weekly (in two articles).

We congratulate both artists on a tremendous start to their exhibition, which remains on view through September 27th. The gallery will also host a closing reception party on Saturday, September 13th. For information about works available, please contact
