The luscious paintings of Julie Heffernan are once again making their way over to PPOW (NY) for her sixth solo exhibition at the gallery.
Opening on April 29 (from 6-8pm), “Boy, Oh Boy” features new paintings by the artist that – for the first time – utilize a male primary figure. Art in America recently caught up with Julie in her studio to preview the works, which will be on view at PPOW through June 5, 2010.
