Cindy Wright @ Ixelles Museum of Fine Arts

Cindy Wright’s work will be included in the group exhibition “Fading”, at the Ixelles Museum of Fine Arts (Musée d’Ixelles). The show opens this Thursday the 25th and runs until September 13, 2009.

Kim Dorland’s fantastic solo show “Super ! Natural!” at Freight + Volume was reviewed in today’s New York Times, you can read the article here. (You have to scroll down a little.) We will have a scan of the review up on the website shortly.

Allison Schulnik @ Alexander and Bonin Gallery

Allison Schulnik’s work will be featured in the group show “whaddaya wanna be, a flower?!” at Alexander and Bonin Gallery in New York, alongside the work of John Baldessari and Jeff Koons, among others. The opening reception will be on Tuesday 23rd, from 6 – 8pm and the exhibition will run until August 14th. For more information about the gallery or the opening event, visit the gallery website.

Allison Schulnik group shows.

Two group shows that include Allison’s work opened this past weekend. “Jeff Zilm & Allison Schulnik” opened on Saturday night at Marty Walker Gallery in Dallas, TX. They will be showing Allison’s film “Hobo Clown”. For more information about the show, which ends on July 18th, go to the gallery website.

“Single Channels: Animations” at Tony Wight Gallery in Chicago, IL, will also be screening the film. This show runs until July 10th. Gallery info can be found on their website.

So if you’re in Chicago or Dallas definitely take this chance to see a great work.
