Last Saturday night Mark Moore Gallery was the place to be when we opened the shows of Nobuhito Nishigawara and Dimitri Kozyrev. We had a great turnout of those interested in checking out Nobu’s amazing ceramic sculpture, Dimitri’s beautiful paintings and the free booze. Thanks to everyone who came and made the night a success, we look forward to seeing you next time. Congratulations to the artists for producing such great exhibitions. Here’s a glimpse of the fun had by all.
Head on over to our “Interviews” page to read our latest heart to heart with Allison Schulnik. Allison will have a solo booth of her work with us at Pulse New York from March 5th to March 8th. We’re very excited as we know the booth is going to look fantastic. We hope many of you will stop by to see it during the fair, but in the mean time read the answers to the questions you’ve always wanted to ask.
Mark Moore Gallery is currently in the midst of art fair shipping/show installation mayhem. By the looks of it, from the photos below, it’ll all be worth it. If you’re in the area, please come to Nobu and Dimitri’s opening this Saturday the 21st and show your support. The exhibition is going to look fantastic.
Julie Heffernan, Dimitri Kozyrev and Vernon Fisher will all have work featured in the upcoming show “Trouble in Paradise: Examining Discord Between Nature and Society” at the Tuscon Musuem of Art in Tuscon, AZ. The show opens on February 28th and runs until June 28th, 2009. For more information please visit the Museum’s website.
Allison Schulnik screened her film “Hobo Clown” last week as part of New Filmmakers LA to a full house at Sunset Gower Studio. Check out some photos below.
The catalog produced for Cindy Wright’s show is now available here:
The catalog not only includes installation images and those in the exhibition but also acts as a survey of her best paintings. With 33 full color reproductions and an introduction by Max Presneill, the end result is spectacular!
